Starting April 1, 2025, we’ll be opening our campsite, where you can enjoy spacious pitches, comfortable safari tents, and wooden chalets—all surrounded by peace, tranquility, and natural beauty.
The Campsite
Our campsite is located just outside the village of Crozon-sur-Vauvre. The small Vauvre River forms the natural boundary of our site. On the other side, a small road leads to Aigurande, the nearest town, where you’ll find bakeries and an Intermarché supermarket.
We offer 4 Safari tents, 2 Bell tents, and 2 wooden chalets for rent. There are also several pitches available for caravans, campervans, folding trailers, or large tents. For adventurers, we have a special tent field right by the river.
Of course, our campsite has a swimming pool and a large play area. You’ll also find a trampoline, a pétanque court, and a ping-pong table. For the little ones, there are various playgrounds to enjoy. Fancy an evening campfire? You can! Sit by the river, gaze at the stars, and enjoy the warmth of a crackling fire.
Not in the mood to cook? There are several restaurants in the area, and from time to time, we prepare meals for our guests. On-site, we offer a fresh bread service, a selection of essential products, as well as drinks and ice creams for sale.
Cycling and hiking adventures
Sports and outdoor activities are in our DNA. That’s why we go the extra mile to ensure cyclists and hikers have a fantastic stay. Whether you’re into gravel biking, road cycling, mountain biking, or simply enjoying a ride on your (electric) bike, there’s something for everyone.
We offer the perfect spots for an overnight stay—light the campfire, grab a beer or a soda, and then settle into your (safari) tent to relax after an active day. There are plenty of cycling and hiking trails, and we’d love to tell you all about them!
Surroundings
Our campsite is located in the Indre department (36), part of the Berry region—a green oasis in the heart of France, just a 2.5-hour drive south of Paris. It’s the perfect stopover on your way to southern Europe, but honestly, you might not want to leave at all!
This area remains untouched by mass tourism, allowing you to experience the authentic charm of France. Enjoy endless hiking and cycling through rolling green hills, explore historic castles, browse local brocantes, take a refreshing dip in the Creuse, or step back in time to the 19th century and the fascinating life of the famous feminist writer George Sand.
